Cinema senza diritti, in collaborazione con Assopace Palestina Venezia, Pax Christi, Comunità palestinese in Veneto e Nur, universitari contro l'apartheid israeliana, vi invita alla proiezione del documentario "Open Bethlehem" lunedì 6 maggio alle 17.00 presso il Centro Culturale Candiani. Sarà presente la regista Leila Sansour e a seguire avrà luogo la consegna del premio "Ponti e non muri" 2019 di Pax Christi, presenti Nandino Capovilla e Norberto Julini.
"Open Bethlehem" is the story of a homecoming in the most famous city in the world. Director Leila Sansour tells seven years of life in Bethlehem, revealing a city of amazing beauty but also the political conflicts caused by the occupation. For the making of this film, the director viewed about 700 hours of original footage and archive material documenting the serious consequences of the Israeli wall and repression that threaten the sustainability and survival of the Christian community of Bethlehem.
Cinema without rights, in collaboration with Assopace Palestina Venice, Pax Christi, Palestinian Community in Veneto and Nur, university students against Israeli apartheid, invites you to the screening of the documentary "Open Bethlehem" on Monday 6 May at 5.00 pm at the Candiani Cultural Center. The director Leila Sansour will be present and Pax Christi's "Bridges and non-walls" award will follow, presented by Nandino Capovilla and Norberto Julini.
