Letter to the Times on the 25th anniversary of Oslo

Times letter about Oslo 13 September 2018Leila Sansour was a key signatory to a letter the Times, London, on 13 September 2018, calling for the British Government to: 

  • recognise now the state of Palestine alongside Israel on pre-June 1967 lines
  • uphold international law in deed, including the 4th Geneva Convention Britain drafted and ratified after WW II
  • give practical effect to UN Security Council Resolution 2334, condemning illegal Israeli settlements, and champion the Arab Peace Initiative, offering regional normality to Israel in return for Palestinian freedom.

The letter was initiated by Sir Vincent Fean and the Balfour Project

Tell your members of Congress to attend the Open Bethlehem screening

Open Bethlehem are working with the Arab American Institute to screen a 30 minute version of Open Bethlehem. This will be screened to members of Congress on 12 December. If you live in the USA please ask your senators and your representatives to attend. You can also RSVPWe have developed a web page and a poster to promote this screening.

On December 12th, the critically acclaimed feature documentary ‘Open Bethlehem,’ will be screened on Capitol Hill. The screening, hosted by the Arab American Institute and Churches for Middle East Peace, will take place in the Rayburn Gold Room on December 12, at 2:00pm. ​

UK screening at Friends House

We at Open Bethlehem are delighted to announce that we will be screening Open Bethlehem at Friends Meeting House, Euston on 12 September 2017. This is an opportunity to see this critically acclaimed film, hear from prominent supporters, become an ambassador and get involved. Leila Sansour will be talking about her film.
